Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

The University partners with ComPsych to provide the EAP. The EAP is a free benefit available to employees and their family members. The EAP provides work-life balance support including:

• Up to 8 free counseling sessions per person per issue
• Finding child care, elder care, or pet care
• Financial workshops and training

UA partners with Premera to manage our medical and dental plans. We are self insured for medical (meaning we are the insurer) and fully insured for dental. Vision Services with VSP

Wellness Program

UA partners with Personify Health to provide employees who are enrolled in a UA Choice medical plan with a Wellness Program. Complete the program and earn a $600 rebate. A spouse / Financially Interdependent Partner (FIP) can complete the program and earn $600, too!

UA partners with Securian to provide Life Insurance and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D). There are several levels available:

• $100,000 of Basic Life Insurance (free and provided to all UA employees who are benefit eligible; imputed taxes apply)
• Employee Supplemental Life Insurance (additional buy-up plan for UA employees who would like to purchase beyond the Basic Life Insurance)
