Ƶ NSF EPSCoR improves scientific research capacity and broadens participation in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) in Ƶ by engaging in multiyear, collaborative statewide research projects supported through National Science Foundation and the state of Ƶ.

2024 - 2029 "Interface of Change" asks how changes in Gulf of Ƶ coastal ecosystems affect marine species of cultural and economic importance, like kelp and salmon, and in turn the well-being of people living in Gulf of Ƶ communities.

Out of the many compelling applications we received for the Ƶ EPSCoR professional development travel awards, we awarded travel funding to eight recipients.

The Ƶ EPSCoR Interface of Change project is accepting applications for travel funding of up to $2,500 for domestic travel to present at a conference or attend a training this spring. Students, staff, or faculty from any Ƶ institution of higher education are eligible to apply. Applications are open now - apply by 5 p.m. AKDT, April 18, 2025!

Ƶ EPSCoR is now accepting applications for Interface of Change seed awards to fund research, student research, education and broadening participation. The deadline to apply for all three seed award solicitations is 5 p.m. AKDT, May 30, 2025. An informational webinar on the application process will take place at 12 p.m. AKDT on April 22, 2025.
