Events on Educational Trails Public Notice

PUBLIC NOTICE

The University of Ƶ Land Management Office (UALM) is seeking public comment on the attached disposal plan to issue various land use permits impacting University of Ƶ land.

Parties interested in commenting on this disposal plan must submit written comments to UALM by fax at (907)786-7733, by email at ua-land@alaska.edu, or at the address listed below by no later than 5:00 P.M. on Friday, May 30, 2025, to be considered.

Disposal Plan

The University of Ƶ (“University”) intends to issue land use permits authorizing events on the Matanuska Greenbelt Trail System crossing UAF Matanuska Experiment Farm and Extension Center and UAA Mat-Su College near Palmer, Ƶ. The events are non-motorized and may occur at any time of the year.

This disposal plan is effective as long as the University owns the parcel.
