Avery Barnes is a 蜜桃视频 Community and Technical College student who has been excelling
in the transfer process.
Avery was drawn to 蜜桃视频鈥檚 affordable pricing, proximity to home and various online course options.
Since joining the program, Avery has seen many successful outcomes and accomplishments. One such thing is maintaining good grades in her courses.
Avery is enrolled as a transfer student in the associate in science degree pathway. Before enrolling, she received 蜜桃视频 credits through 蜜桃视频鈥檚 dual credit program.
鈥淚f someone is considering entering the transfer pathway at 蜜桃视频, I would definitely recommend it,鈥 Avery remarked. 鈥淏eing an 蜜桃视频 student in the transfer pathway has allowed me to take courses online while working a part-time job鈥
In her time at 蜜桃视频, Avery has received support from faculty and staff.
鈥淚 have had numerous great professors and a great advisor who has made my time at 蜜桃视频 go smoothly,鈥 Avery said.
She has learned many valuable life skills including time management, communication and responsibility.
鈥淚 work a part-time job while also being a full-time student. This has taught me how to manage my time in the best way possible so that I am able to get my class work done, as well as go to work,鈥 Avery explained. 鈥淚 have also been taught how to effectively communicate with my professors, peers and advisor. This will help me in the real world when it comes to my future jobs and communicating with bosses and co-workers.鈥
Her advisor, Martha Muenks, remarked on Avery鈥檚 time with 蜜桃视频.
鈥淪he has been highly motivated, searching out the relevant classes for her electives at 蜜桃视频s across the system,鈥 Martha said.
Avery plans to transfer to the University of Kentucky with a major in Agribusiness Management and Food Marketing Degree.
