Patrick Foster named new GIS property manager

Please join us in welcoming Patrick Foster who will serve as the GIS Property Manager for our Land Management office. Patrick’s duties will include mad production, GIS database management, property management and records administration.
Patrick began his work with us on Jan. 7.
Prior to joining the University of ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ, Patrick worked as an engineering geologist for the Central Region office of the ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Department of Transportation and Public Facilities. Patrick has also worked as a natural resource specialist with the ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Department of Natural Resources’ Division of Mining, Land and Water and as a contracted geologist for Pogo Mine ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ.
Patrick holds an A.A.S in Information Technology from Mountwest Community and Technical College, a B.S. in Geology from Marshall University and is currently in the process of earning an M.S. in Geological Sciences from the University of ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Anchorage.
Patrick was born and raised in West Virginia and moved to ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ in 2015.
